Rimkus is a worldwide provider of engineering and technical consulting to corporations, insurance companies, law firms, and government agencies. Rimkus experts specialise in forensic consulting, dispute resolution and construction management services, solutions for the built environment, and human factors support for the consumer, industrial, and healthcare industries.

Due to company growth, we are seeking an experienced Business Support Executive to join our Sydney office.


The role

The Business Support Executive plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day business activities. As a key member of the Business Support team, this position provides essential administrative and operational support to management and teams, both locally in Sydney and across the APAC region.

Key responsibilities include:

* Provide general administrative support for the team in the Sydney office.
* Support the business needs of the Regional Director - NSW and other local management, including diary management.
* Provide office management including (but not limited to) phone answering, managing suppliers, asset management, liaising with building management.
* Jointly manage the shared mailbox for the APAC business support team.
* Work within company systems to establish and administer new matters; administer expenses and time entries; and support the Finance team with client billing.
* Manage corporate travel.
* Support the creation and submission of tenders.
* Organise internal events, in line with the company budget.
* Provide backup support to other business support team members across the APAC region.


Our Requirements

* Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
* Ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
* Familiar with Microsoft office suite.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks, such as reporting and corresponding.
* Aptitude for resolving issues effectively and proactively.
* Ability to understand corporate operations and procedures, and to handle confidential information.
