The team is led by Partners who are ranked by Doyle’s Guide and Best Lawyers as Leading and Recommended Lawyers. As part of this high-volume practice, you will gain exposure to all aspects of a workers compensation claim.We care about and invest in future talent. As a Law Graduate/Junior Lawyer at Moray & Agnew, you will work closely with and be mentored by a Partner and senior lawyers. The invaluable experience you will gain will be 'learned on the job'. As a Law Graduate, you will also have access to our National Learning & Development Program.The experience you can expect to gain includes:Assisting in the management of files in a leading WA workers’ compensation practiceDrafting legal documents and correspondenceAssisting in the preparation of advice to clients and developing opinion and pleading writing skillsPreparing court documents for litigated mattersAttending to directions hearings and chamber summons with early exposure to advocacyAssisting with preparing matters for trialLiaising with clients, including assisting in obtaining instructions and at conferencesAbout youYou will have completed your law degree and may be currently completing your postgraduate studies and PLT, about to start your postgraduate studies, or be an admitted lawyer. You are motivated and enthusiastic. You should be eager to learn and develop and be passionate about a career in law. You will have strong academic results – and beyond your academic successes, you also possess the ability to apply your critical thinking skills.
