Job Description for Solution Architect in Sydney/Melbourne.
10+ years As the Senior Solution Architect, your key purpose is to design and facilitate the delivery of architectural solutions to deliver new and enhanced business capabilities.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
1. Collaborating with the business stakeholders to refine and understand the business requirements while considering existing system capabilities.
2. Working with Solution Architects and Lead Developers to agree upon architectural solutions.
3. Documentation and presentation of high-level solutions for socialisation with business stakeholders and senior management.
4. Assisting the Scrum Masters in identifying risks and issues relating to the solution and any dependencies on other initiatives.
5. Ensuring that the developers and testers fully understand the solution and elaborating on the solution design where required to achieve this goal.
6. Supporting the development and test teams in diagnosing and resolving architectural and technical issues in a consultative capacity throughout the project.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you must have:
1. Extensive working experience as a Solution Architect for AEM.
2. Demonstrable expert experience in Online technologies and frameworks: JEE, JSP, HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, Spring (MVC, AOP, Security Framework), Angular 1.x, Angular 2, Polymer, React, Web Sockets.
3. Expert experience in Integration technologies: JEE, SOAP, RMI, REST, JMS, JPA, ESBs, XML/XSLT, Rabbit MQ, NodeJS.
4. Experience in API design, API gateway and integration with legacy and strategic systems.
5. Experience with a variety of SaaS based solutions and Cloud Platforms.
6. Able to work independently and as part of a large team.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills.
8. Must be able to communicate complex ideas with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
9. Background in Telecommunications or E-commerce is preferred.
Desirable skills:
1. AWS Solution Architect Associate (or Professional) Certification.
2. CRM experience preferably Salesforce platform.
3. Ecommerce experience with Order Capture Management and Product Catalogue.
4. Native mobile application development experience (for iOS or Android) is an advantage.
5. Telecommunication domain knowledge with mobile & internet services.
