Junction Support Services (Junction) is an award‐winning, regional not‐for‐profit organisation supporting people to achieve a brighter future through access to housing, education, health, trauma recovery and disability services.
For more than 35 years, Junction has delivered holistic, trauma‐informed and client‐centred services across Ovens Murray, Goulburn, Gippsland and regional NSW, supporting over 2,500 people each year. About The Role
In this diverse and meaningful role, you'll provide hands‐on support, expert advice, and practical solutions across all areas of Occupational Health & Safety, Injury Management, and Return to Work. You'll work closely with leaders and employees to build safe work practices, reduce workplace risk, and facilitate smooth and supportive pathways back to work following injury or illness.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support OHS initiatives that strengthen safety culture across the organisation
* Provide proactive safety advice to managers and staff, including risk management and incident prevention
* Coordinate and manage the Return to Work process for work‐related and non‐work‐related injuries
* Work collaboratively with employees, leaders, treating practitioners, and insurers to support safe, sustainable return‐to‐work outcomes
* Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits
* Support the development and review of OHS policies, procedures, and training
* Monitor incident trends and support continuous improvement initiatives
* Maintain accurate OHS and injury management records and reporting
* Facilitate wellbeing conversations and early intervention strategies
* Promote compliance with the OHS Act, Regulations, and organisational standards
About You
You will succeed in this role if you have:
* Experience in OHS, Injury Management, Return to Work, or a related field
* Strong understanding of legislation, safety systems, and best‐practice return‐to‐work processes
* Excellent communication and relationship‐building skills
* The ability to influence, coach and support leaders and staff in creating safer workplacesStrong organisational and problem‐solving skills
* A people‐centred approach, with a genuine commitment to wellbeing and safe outcomes
* Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety, Return to Work, or equivalent (desirable)
