Recruitment Business Partner at Corin Group We are seeking a Senior Human Resources & Payroll Officer/Generalist to support the APAC team, assisting circa 160 employees in Australia and Japan.
This role reports to the HR Manager – APAC and delivers a seamless employee experience across the end-to-end HR lifecycle, including payroll processing and compliance with local and global audit requirements.
What will you be doing? Responsible for processing payroll, maintaining employee records, and managing systems data with accurate and timely updates; ensure compliance with payroll & HR policies.
Ensure data is captured in all systems accurately and by global deadlines for reporting purposes.
Maintain employee payroll records (hours worked, wages, timesheets, deductions) for audit purposes.
Prepare ad hoc reports for management (e.g., leave, remuneration).
Manage onboarding and induction programs ensuring compliance with quality systems.
Support HR initiatives, policies, and procedures with employees and managers.
Produce accurate HR Employment Contracts, letters relating to probation, promotions, terminations, etc.
Coordinate activities with the Global Recruitment Business Partner for local recruitment.
Assist with general office tasks and ensure office equipment and supplies are monitored and maintained.
What Experience, Skills and Qualifications do you need? Minimum of 2 years local HR experience managing the end-to-end lifecycle of employees (APAC experience advantageous).
Minimum of 2 years with payroll processing and solid understanding of Australian Awards.
Working knowledge of NES Standards, Fair Work Act and HR/Payroll record-keeping compliance.
Working knowledge of WHS and Office Management compliance.
Exceptional interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
Excellent organization, prioritization and planning skills with strong attention to deadlines.
High accuracy and attention to detail in all HR, WHS, payroll and system management tasks.
Experience with payroll systems (Aussiepay) and HRIS systems (Dayforce/Workday) and quality systems.
Strong numerical aptitude and ability to follow standard processes and maintain up-to-date records.
University degree in Human Resources, Employee Relations or Business with a focus on HR.
