About the Role
This role is part of a dynamic team delivering front-line mental health services across triage, emergency department response, and acute care. You'll work across three core functions to ensure timely, safe, and effective access to mental health support.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete mental health and AOD assessments for acute referrals
* Work across triage, emergency department response, and acute care as rostered
* Deliver evidence-based, short-term clinical interventions
* Engage families and carers where appropriate
* Build collaborative relationships with community agencies
* Contribute to safe, recovery-oriented care planning
Qualifications and Skills
* Qualification and registration in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, or Social Work
* Recent clinical experience in mental health settings
* Skills in risk assessment, crisis response, and engagement
* Understanding of the Mental Health Act 2022
* Knowledge of trauma-informed care and substance use impacts
