We're seeking a proactive and experienced Shipping & Dispatch Team Leader to drive our outbound logistics function. This is an opportunity to lead from the front—guiding a dedicated team and ensuring every order leaves our facility accurately, efficiently and on time.
About the Role
In this hands-on leadership position, you'll take full responsibility for our Shipping & Dispatch operations. You'll oversee the packing, manifesting and distribution of finished goods, ensuring compliance with courier specifications and daily service level agreements.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the pace and complexity of print or manufacturing environments and thrives on keeping operations running smoothly from production floor to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate the Shipping & Dispatch team
* Manage daily dispatch priorities to meet SLA targets
* Create and manage courier manifests and dispatch documentation
* Coordinate with multiple couriers and freight providers
* Ensure compliance with courier rules, cut-off times, and packaging standards
* Monitor daily production and dispatch reports
* Troubleshoot shipping issues and drive continuous improvement
* Work closely with Production, Warehouse, and Customer Service teams
What We're Looking For
* Experience in Print Manufacturing (desirable)
* Strong knowledge of shipping, dispatch, and logistics operations
* Experience working with multiple couriers with consideration of individual requirements for packing rules
* Proven people leadership experience
* Understanding of end-to-end production workflow
* Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Experience using production or logistics management software
* Management or logistics qualification (desirable)
