About the Role
Reporting to the Group CEO, the Business Development Manager will be a key part of our wider success story; you'll be a strong relationship builder, a sales qualified and champion of our brands, able to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
As the role develops it will require travel to the UK, Europe and potentially the USA 3–4 times per year for 2/3 weeks.

- Experience growing and developing accounts
- Ability to identify new business opportunities
- Proven ability to exceed targets and work well under pressure
- A strong business acumen and ability to review data metrics to make informed decisions to build strategic plans
- Be a lateral thinker as an approach to problem‑solving that strives for creative solutions rather than the most straightforward answer
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent relationship building and customer service mindset – the ability to build rapport across many demographics, overcoming objections and achieving business results
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, written and verbal
- Be able to work collaboratively with others
- French and German language skills would be of benefit
- Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint) experience and proficiency
Is this you?
This role would suit a candidate:
- Who resides within a commutable distance to our head office in Dandenong
- Ideally has equestrian experience or in an adjacent outdoor or sporting goods industry and would love to represent some of our industry’s most celebrated brands
- 1–3 years’ experience in B2B sales with proven track record of exceeding targets
- A driven individual, able to use their own initiative and prepared to go the extra mile to ensure the delivery of excellent account management to their customers
