An exciting opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator is available at Queensland Symphony Orchestra. This role is a critical part of QSO’s Sales & Marketing team, which is a collaborative and fast-paced team. Reporting to the Brand & Content Manager, and working closely with the wider team, you’ll be working across multiple campaigns and digital channels to support the implementation of integrated communications and promotional campaigns to our audiences. This important role is essential for supporting the creative and productive output of this high‑performing team.

What you’ll do
Marketing Campaigns & Digital
* Under the direction of the Brand & Content Manager and Marketing Campaigns Manager:
o Support the development and delivery of promotional campaigns and activities, including asset creation, copywriting, digital content creation, company email signature updates, cross-promotion and partner liaison
o Be prepared to implement real-time campaign adjustments based on data
o Deliver marketing emails (eDMs) to brief, ensuring accuracy of information and consistent application of our brand
o Use audience databases to prepare and deliver eDM segmentation targeting to brief
o Conduct A/B testing on eDM artwork, layout, and messaging where possible, use performance metrics (open rates, click-through-rates, click-to-open-rates & sales) to inform improvement
o Prepare and deliver Google Ad campaigns, providing insights on performance, behaviour, and trends
* Own and deliver QSO’s monthly eNews in collaboration with the Brand & Content Manager, Marketing Campaigns Manager, and other key departments
* Own and maintain QSO’s website and coordinate updates for accuracy, best practice user experience (UX) and search engine optimisation (SEO), and to drive sales and brand performance
* Create, integrate, and maintain key digital marketing performance reports through Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and eDM reporting, providing insights on key trends, audience behaviour or promotional activities
Content & Brand
* Support the delivery of the content strategy where needed through the editing and/or development of video and photographic content, and creating blog posts for our website
* Assist with the planning and implementation of photographic and video shoots to support wider marketing activities
* Support the representation of QSO’s brand, ensuring all applications of the brand and audience touch points represent QSO
Other
* Participate regularly in the marketing team roster to represent the team at performances to deliver front of house marketing plans. This will include regular after hours and weekend activity.
* Liaison with a suite of internal and external marketing clients and suppliers, including designers, photographers, videographers, digital specialists, print and signage suppliers, partners, funders, musicians and artists
* General support in the delivery of key campaign, media, stakeholder, partner or other events
* Provide general administrative support to the Sales & Marketing team in support of Queensland Symphony Orchestra’s goals and targets
* Other tasks as reasonably required
About you
* Tertiary qualifications in marketing, digital marketing, communications (similar) or equivalent experience
* Experience in a digital marketing, campaigns coordinator or similar role
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders
* Excellent relationship management skills and experience working with a range of internal and external stakeholders
* Knowledge of marketing principles, digital marketing trends, and social media platforms
* Knowledge of digital marketing platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, content management systems (CMS), email marketing platforms, and customer relationship managers (CRMs))
Desirable Criteria
* Experience in ticketed events in performing arts or the cultural sector
* Familiarity with or interest in classical music or music generally
* Familiarity with Tessitura and Monday.com for project management
