Sunraysia Community Health Service (SCHS) is a dynamic organisation promoting health, wellbeing and independence in a social model of health. SCHS understands the influence of the Social Determinants of Health upon health inequities experienced by community members and works with consumers and community members, to structure their care around the context in which they live and work.
We seek applications for the role of Customer Service Officer with the Urgent Care Clinic. Reporting to the Clinical Coordinator - UCC, the role will be responsible for supporting the nurses and GP's operating within the UCC as well as creating a welcoming environment for patients, effectively managing UCC administrative inquiries and ensuring patient appointments are created and communicated in a timely manner.
The key functions of the position include:
* Make appointments for Clients as required and indicated by clinicians, including interpreter bookings as required.
* Receive and redirect calls in a punctual and professional manner. Record all messages for staff and visitors/clients/customers in an accurate and timely manner. Operation of voice mail and answering machines including answer general enquires within own scope of responsibility and sphere of knowledge, redirecting as appropriate.
* Accurately record client information in statistical database including updating client files as required. Accurately attend to statistical data entry. Maintain Client records and filing, including archiving.
