The role of the Financial Controller APAC – Drilling Products is to oversee the financial operations across the APAC region where you will manage financial reporting, support strategic decision‑making to drive business growth, and ensure a strong focus on compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities include: Reporting & Analysis
Work with the FP&A; team to prepare and present accurate financial reports to senior management.
Collaborate with regional teams to ensure timely month‑end and year‑end closings.
Financial Management
Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for APAC regions.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws, accounting standards, and corporate policies.
Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize financial performance.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure adherence to internal controls and corporate governance standards.
Manage audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Identify and mitigate financial risks across the region.
Leadership
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the finance function.
Provide guidance and support to finance professionals across multiple locations through dotted‑line and direct relationships, ensuring alignment of goals and consistency of financial practices.
A Few Other Things We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required (Master’s preferred)
Min. 5‑7 years of experience within management roles in Finance and/or Controlling.
Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of local accounting standards.
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and financial software will be a plus.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
