We are seeking a Senior Officer Field Services Assets to support the management of AV's IT equipment throughout its lifecycle, from purchase to retirement. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate asset records, assisting with basic device issues, and coordinating with external suppliers involved in providing or servicing equipment.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position through to 15 January 2027. While hybrid and work-from-home arrangements are available, the successful applicant will need to maintain an on-site presence in line with our hybrid working model. Our Field Services teams are located across multiple offices and this role will be located at Blackburn or Ballarat.
About the role
Reporting to the Field Services Asset Lead, responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:
* Monitor and action service requests as required, ensuring that agreed SLA's are met
* Support and participate in user device asset lifecycle activity from procurement, delivery of device programs through to recovery and disposal
* Maintain an asset management register that accurately reflects stock levels across the organisation
* Assist to develop instructions for end user training, and device-based refresh programs
* Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and systems
About you
We are seeking a team player with strong verbal and written communication skills. Your solid planning, organising and time management abilities will enable you to manage a variety of competing demands effectively. As this role involves frequent customer interaction, our ideal candidate brings a strong customer service focus, supported by well-developed interpersonal, influencing and relationship-building skills. To be considered for this position you will have:
* A degree or relevant industry certification with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training & relevant experience as a practitioner in the Information & Communications Technology environment
* ITIL Qualified, Foundation level (desirable)
* Experience working within an Emergency Services organisation
* Demonstrated proficiency in a wide suite of technology operations, asset management, installation & support of End User Devices
