Full time dairy farm hand
An exciting opportunity has become available on a family owned dairy in Singleton NSW. We have a full-time position for an enthusiastic reliable person who are passionate about dairying.
400 Holstein and Jersey stud cow operation with a up-to-date computerised 20 aside double up herringbone with milk meters and automatic drafting system.
Responsibilities include but not limited:
milk harvesting
collecting cows
herd health
mastitis detection
heat detection
calf rearing
springer management including calving cows
dry cow management
feeding with tractor
The ideal candidate will be able to work alongside of owner, work in a team environment and also individually, be able to seek out opportunities.
We are located only 15 minutes from town centre of singleton only 30 minutes to the vineyards and an hour to the beach.
Must have a Driver’s license
