Position: Bridge Carpenter Start: Immediate Location: Wagga Wagga Immediate Start Up to 3 months contract $48.38 per hour Super Our government client is looking for Bridge Workers for projects in the Wagga Wagga region. This hands-on role involves performing carpentry trade tasks and related duties to support the upkeep of bridges and drainage structures. You’ll play a key part in maintaining essential infrastructure throughout the area. Successful candidates will be required to regularly work away from home Monday – Friday with accommodation provided and living away allowance paid. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities: Carry out carpentry work on bridges and drainage structures. Follow safety procedures and project plans at all times. Travel regularly and stay in provided camp accommodation. Support maintenance tasks with general labouring as needed. To be successful you will require: Carpentry Licence/Trade Certificate – Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent. At least 12 months experience in a Construction Carpenter Grade 1 or equivalent experience in construction Current Construction Industry White Card. Current unrestricted NSW motor vehicle driver’s license. Workers on Foot (or willing to obtain) Willingness to obtain TC (Traffic Controller) ticket if not already held Flexibility for 90% of time camping away.
