Senior Business Analyst | Integrated Planning | Mining Operations
Search Partners are partnering with Core Lithium as they restart operations in the Grants open cut and simultaneously build the BP33 underground mine at the Finniss River Lithium Mine. We're currently engaged in a search for a Senior Business Analyst to join the Integrated Planning team in Perth.
This is not a traditional corporate Business Analyst role.
This is a highly operational position responsible for building and maintaining the integrated production forecast across the entire mine to port value chain. Working closely with Mining, Processing, Logistics and Commercial teams, you'll play a critical role in helping the business understand what it can realistically produce, deliver and ship.
As Core continues to advance the BP33 underground operation alongside existing activities at Finniss, this role will sit at the centre of operational planning and decision making.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the EGM Technical Services, you will be responsible for consolidating inputs from across the business and maintaining the integrated forecasting models that underpin production planning, budgeting and operational performance.
You'll work across the full value chain, from mining and stockpile management through to processing, logistics, port operations and shipping schedules.
This is a rare opportunity to gain exposure to every part of a mining operation whilst working directly with senior operational leaders and technical specialists.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and maintain the integrated mine to port forecast model
* Develop and improve planning and forecasting tools across the operation
* Consolidate inputs from Mining, Processing, Logistics and Commercial teams
* Lead monthly and quarterly plan versus actual reconciliations
* Analyse production, recovery, stockpile and logistics performance
* Identify forecast risks, bottlenecks and operational constraints
* Produce reporting and forecasting outputs for leadership teams
* Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy and planning capability
* Support budgeting, quarterly planning and business performance reviews
About You
We are open to a range of backgrounds provided you have strong analytical capability and experience operating within a mining or heavy industrial environment.
You may currently be working as a:
* Integrated Planning Analyst
* Operations Analyst
* Production Analyst
* Site Accountant
* Commercial Analyst
* Supply Chain Analyst
* Mining Engineer with strong modelling capability
* Technical Services professional with a passion for analysis and forecasting
To be successful you will bring:
* Advanced Excel and modelling skills
* Experience building and maintaining forecasting models
* Strong numerical and analytical capability
* Experience working with operational and production data
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* A practical, solutions focused approach
Previous exposure to mining operations, production reporting, reconciliations or integrated planning environments will be highly regarded.
