Chisholm is seeking an experienced Procurement & Contract Management Lead for our Information & Technology Services team.

About The Role

As a Procurement & Contract Management Lead, your key responsibilities include:

* Manage procurement approval workflows, monitoring progression of tender submissions, service provider evaluations, contract negotiations, purchase orders, requisitions and other paperwork in the context of procurement.
* Plan, develop and oversee the contracts register to capture information relating to business ownership, expiry dates, contractual service level details, contract performance indicators and any other information deemed relevant for service provider management in line with the Victorian Government Purchasing Board framework and Chisholm's framework.
* Monitor service provider performance addressing any issues with Service Level Agreements, contract performance, client expectations and outcomes and develop systems to ensure requests are responded to in a timely manner and client satisfaction levels are enhanced.
* Make effective judgements under pressure, consider alternative courses of action, devise action plans and advocate new approaches to complex issues.
* Make decisions that impact ITS and other areas of the organisation, with the potential to flow into industry or other non-government sectors in the short-medium term.
* Monitor, assess, and ensure the value and performance of service provider agreements.
* Ensure service provider performance standards are included in agreements and service providers are assessed against agreed standards on an ongoing basis, with an understanding of service delivery, reporting, safety and compliance contract requirements.

About You

You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in procurement and service provider management, preferably within a government setting. You will have experience in preparing and processing paperwork related to procurement activities, including tender submissions, service provider evaluations, contract negotiations, purchase orders, requisitions and other paperwork in the context of procurement and can coordinate procurement activities between business stakeholders, General Counsel, Procurement and Finance team.

You have excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills, and the ability to provide advice on and resolve complex issues of an operational nature within a large, diverse organisation with competing demands for human, financial and physical resources. You have highly developed and engaging communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and have a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple demands and work in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications Required For The Role

Relevant tertiary qualification and experience in procurement and administrative fields; or lesser formal qualifications and management expertise in procurement and administrative fields; or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education /training.
