Job Description

At Ibis Adelaide, Guest Service Agents are the unofficial directors of first impressions at the front desk. You will greet guests with a friendly smile, helping them feel welcomed from the moment they arrive.

Daily Responsibilities
* Warmly welcome guests and provide ongoing support to the reception team
* Deliver exceptional guest service with a friendly, approachable manner that reflects our brand values
* Assist guests with check‐in/check‐out and provide information during their stay
* Respond promptly to guest concerns, taking ownership and following up with relevant departments to ensure satisfaction
* Switchboard communications with the rest of the hotel operational teams (Food & Beverage, Maintenance, etc.)
* Process and take bookings during after‐hours reservations
* Attend to guests with a professional telephone manner
* Think on your feet and anticipate guests' needs
* Multitask with excellent time management
* Resolve problems on the spot
* Work in a fast‐paced environment
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Guest Service Agent or hotel receptionist (preferred but not essential)
* Passion for people and delivering impressive service
* Computer literate
* Exceptional written, verbal and non‐verbal communication skills
* Organised with high attention to detail
* Previous experience in a reservations environment is an advantage
* Experience with Opera Cloud, TARS or similar PMS is preferred
* Legal right to work in Australia for a full‐time role
