Job Overview
This part-time role is designed for a highly organized and skilled professional to manage financial systems, forecasting, and project accounting.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the monthly invoicing cycle for all projects
* Ensure accurate entry of new project proposals into Xero
* Review weekly staff timesheets to confirm hours billed
* Track and allocate costs appropriately within project accounting
* Link invoices to the correct projects
* Manage project variations and close completed projects
* Conduct financial deep-dives with Project Directors
* Develop and maintain project financial tracking spreadsheets
* Including invoice reconciliation and progress tracking
* Prepare monthly financial reports for management using Xero
* Assist in strategic financial forecasting
Requirements
* Proven experience in financial management, preferably in design, consulting, or architecture
* Strong proficiency in Xero and Excel
* Experience working with consultants and managing sub-consultant finances
* Confident in preparing and interpreting financial reports
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with teams
* Ability to implement new systems or software as required
* Must hold a current visa with work rights in Australia
