Teaching Role in Career and Vocational Education
The Department of Education is seeking a qualified teacher to join the Careers and Vocational Education team at Willetton Senior High School. The successful applicant will play a key role in delivering vocational education and training (VET) programs and career development opportunities for students in Years 10 to 12.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of nationally recognised qualifications aligned with Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE)
* Supporting individual pathway planning and coordination of Workplace Learning or School-Based Traineeships
* Collaboration with other staff, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), and industry partners
Requirements:
* Eligible teacher qualification and registration
* Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or valid visa with relevant work rights
* WA Working with Children Check before commencing employment
* Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before commencing employment
Desirable Qualifications:
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122)
* Experience delivering VET qualifications such as Certificate II in Workplace Skills, Certificate III in Business, and Certificate III in Community Services
