The Opportunity
We have an exciting opening for a Centre Manager at our Darwin NT location.
We seek a candidate who can take accountability for the site, oversee all activities, ensure timely and quality repairs, and maintain customer satisfaction. Our goal is to maximize profitability and reputation while ensuring a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
Work Health and Safety
* Maintain the WHS management system to ensure site safety
* Report and record safety incidents or near misses and take appropriate action
* Follow all environmental policies and procedures
Customer Service and Stakeholder Management
* Provide exceptional service to clients and work providers
* Walk clients through repairs upon vehicle collection
* Maintain relationships with work providers
Quality and Vehicle Management
* Ensure vehicles are repaired to pre-accident condition
* Conduct final QA inspections
* Address quality and safety concerns
* Prepare comprehensive and accurate quotes
* Perform vehicle arrival inspections
* Update management systems on vehicle status
* Order parts and manage invoices, credits, and returns
* Label and store parts properly
Production Workshop Management
* Oversee workshop production to meet targets and quality standards
* Manage vehicle flow to maximize capacity
* Ensure repairs follow job sheets, methods, and SOPs
* Use consumables efficiently to reduce wastage
P&L, Reporting, and Administration
* Ensure profitability, prepare/review P&Ls, budgets, KPIs, and reports
* Submit accurate end-of-month reports on time
* Manage invoicing accurately and timely
* Ensure subcontractor compliance
* Inform clients of costs before vehicle collection and collect payments
Leadership and People Management
* Build and maintain positive team culture
* Update timekeeping for absences
* Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and performance appraisals
* Handle misconduct and grievances with HR support
* Ensure team members have necessary licenses and qualifications
