About the role
As a Pathology Collector – Regional, you will be the welcoming face of SA Pathology, delivering high-quality specimen collection services with care, empathy and professionalism. Reporting to the local Laboratory Manager, you will provide exceptional customer service to patients, clinicians and other stakeholders, ensuring each interaction reflects SA Pathology's commitment to accuracy, respect and clinical excellence. Your role is essential to the smooth operation of pathology services, supporting accurate diagnostic testing that contributes to the health and wellbeing of communities across regional South Australia.
In this dynamic and rewarding position, you will perform a range of duties including specimen collection, labelling, sorting and transportation in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. You will also assist with administrative and clinical tasks as required, working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain efficiency, quality and patient satisfaction. * Technical & Systems Knowledge
Experience working in a pathology or laboratory setting, with knowledge of pathology operations, data entry systems and information management processes.
