**Job Opportunity:** Indigenous Education Counsellor
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indigenous Education Counsellor to develop programs that cater to the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
This role involves providing guidance and support to students, as well as establishing connections with community resources to ensure their success.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cultural perspectives and experience in educational support.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement programs that promote academic achievement and personal growth among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students
* Provide one-on-one counselling and support to students
* Establish relationships with community organizations and resources to enhance student outcomes
Requirements:
* Postgraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, psychology)
* Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
* Strong understanding of cultural perspectives and their impact on education
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
