Job Title: Environmental Consultant
We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Consultant to join our team. As an Environmental Consultant, you will be responsible for supervising fieldwork programs, including subcontractors and ERM personnel on site.
Your primary role will involve undertaking environmental assessments and remediation works involving the collection of field data (soil, soil gas/vapour, groundwater).
You will also prepare complex technical reports in accordance with relevant guidelines and legislation, and assist with the preparation of client proposals.
* You will have between 2 and 5 years' experience in contaminated site management consulting experience, with strong field work skills acquired across a range of site uses and contaminant types.
* You will be part of a successful technical team responsible for consulting on contaminated sites largely within WA on a range of investigation and remediation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise fieldwork programs, including subcontractors and ERM personnel on site

3. Prepare complex technical reports in accordance with relevant guidelines and legislation
4. Assist with the preparation of client proposals
Requirements:
* Previous consulting experience (2-5 years) in contaminated land industry;
* Relevant tertiary qualification (geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, environmental engineering, soil science or other related science subject degree);
* High appreciation and understanding of health & safety requirements on complex work sites, including conducting intrusive drilling and excavation works;
* Leadership and co-ordination of field programs, including mentoring of junior colleagues;
* Proven experience in supervising and managing sub-contractors on site;
* Competency in preliminary and detailed site investigation and sampling techniques involving data collection (soil, water, soil vapour, etc.) is required and a working knowledge of the ASC NEPM;
* Willingness to travel;
* Proven report writing skills;
* Authorised to work full-time in Australia; and
* Full Drivers Licence issued by an Australian state or territory.
