About the Role
Randstad is proud to partner with a Queensland Government department that manages transport systems and infrastructure across the state.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct assessments of road infrastructure assets following updated engineering best practice and prepare reports on recommended engineering solutions to particular asset conditions from a life cycle perspective.
* Analyse infrastructure condition data along with traffic, environment, economic and other relevant parameters in a big-data platform to develop whole of life asset management treatments options.
* Support asset management strategies for transport infrastructure that minimise whole of life costs across the elements.
* Provide support and advice on the planning and design process including business cases development, to ensure delivery of program outcomes, value for money and best practice are achieved.
* Determine the engineering requirements, including materials, critical components and systems, involved in supporting project management and delivery.
* Maintain and apply all relevant standards, policies, guidelines and legislative requirements necessary for the design and construction of road infrastructure projects.
Requirements
* Second or Third year in a Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
* Open drivers license and white card required.
