We are currently recruiting for a Brand Manager to join our Consumer OTC team based in St Leonards. This is a part-time, 3 day/week role.
This is a great opportunity to use your experience as a Brand Manager to help drive the strategic direction for one of our key brands. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager – Portfolio and Pipeline, you will be responsible for developing and managing plans to build brand equity for Novalac. This includes implementing planned marketing activities to drive healthcare professional awareness and recommendation, developing brand communications, and turning insights into actionable marketing strategies to provide our field force with tools to deliver the most effective messages.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Based on thorough market assessment/analysis, developing and documenting the strategic direction for the brand via annual Brand Plans
2. Developing and implementing marketing communication strategies including creative and media
3. Conducting regular investigations, analysis and assessments of existing brands, market context, perceptions, budget allocation, performance and competitive landscape
4. Anticipating future opportunities and areas for brand improvement
5. Providing expert opinion into new product development concepts
6. Managing assigned agencies and suppliers to budget and agreed performance parameters
7. Preparation and distribution of reporting on activities, outcomes and recommendations
8. Budget management and forecasting
We are looking for someone who will bring:
1. Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business or a Science related degree
2. Demonstrated knowledge and experience across Brand Management including marketing to healthcare professionals, gained in a Nutritional, OTC or pharmaceutical sector.
3. Qualifications in nutrition, nutritional and infant formula marketing experience will be highly regarded.
4. Sound analytical skills to gather data and insights to make recommendations
5. Strong relationship building skills with the ability to manage cross functional teams on key projects
6. Confident communication (both verbal and written) to proactively engage stakeholders and develop the best commercial outcome for our customers and business
7. Well-developed time management skills with the ability to be flexible and meet conflicting deadlines
8. A high level of motivation to work autonomously and also be a team player to deliver exceptional results
