The ANZ capital team is based at multiple sites with operations in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide so much of the work will be remote assistance of team members.Accountabilities will include supporting the acquisition of equipment, engineering services and other project related items.
You will proactively maintain equipment supplier relationships and confirm that they are on track to meet the project timelines.What your days looks like:Entering & tracking requisitions and purchase orders, goods receipting, invoice tracking, vendor management and ad hoc reportingEnsuring suppliers quotations and invoicing are in line with The Arnott's Groups (TAG) company payment terms and raising early payment requests with Accounts and treasury outside of these exceptions, in collaboration with the Project ManagerGoods receipting under the direction of the Project ManagerReporting on delivery timelines for equipment, regular connections with vendors and forwarders to ensure smooth deliveryCreate and control filing of project documentation including claims, invoices, schedules of payment, shipping documentsManaging and reporting on the timely delivery of goods to the project site, following up and escalating issuesOrganising equipment importation including Customs / shipping clearance & tariffsAssistance with monthly capital forecasting in particular the monthly foreign exchange forecast to treasury.Review weekly parked invoices reports of all Capital Project managers and ensure follow up of unpaid purchase ordersAdministrative support for the engineering teams e.g. Coordinating completion of the TAG project shutdown plan.The Ingredients for Success:Just like you can't make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role;No formal education required.
Qualifications in Business Management or Logistics are desireableExperience in daily use of SAP in a Project management or manufacturing environmentProject/construction/sustainment support experience or similarAble to collate and present dataCollate and format project documentation: O&M manuals, minutes, safety recordsExperience working with technical teamsCompetent in use of Microsoft office suite – especially Excel and PowerpointHave a clear understanding of international shipping and associated logisticsNaturally, must have the ability to manage conflicting deadlines, changing priorities and multiple tasksExcellent written and oral communication skills.
