Responsibilities
- Planned and corrective maintenance of FM 8x4 Volvo based mobile processing units and auxiliary equipment (MPU Trucks).
- Maintain all facets of road-going heavy vehicles with onboard ammonia nitrate manufacturing capabilities.
What You Will Bring
- You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture.
- Experience with European prime movers (Volvo advantageous).
- Heavy vehicle mechanical trade certification, or automotive electrical (dual trade advantageous).
- Auto electrical experience backed with strong diagnostic aptitude.
- Experience in hydraulic and pneumatic circuitry and control systems.
- Queensland HR Licence (advantageous).
- Proficient computer skills – exposure to CMMS systems valued.
- Technically ambitious, love a challenge and provide a can-do attitude.
- Hold a Queensland Security Clearance Card – or have the ability to obtain.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Trade certified heavy vehicle technician or automotive electrical background.
- Ability to diagnose and repair complex electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Driver’s license relevant to Queensland (HR advantageous).
- Operational proficiency with CMMS or similar maintenance management software (preferred).

Location and Site
Based at the Curragh site in Blackwater, approx. 15 km from Blackwater township. You will be working with experienced technicians and will have access to a dedicated planner and two maintenance supervisors. All basic and specialised tooling is provided.
