The Accelerator team plays a critical role in translating the potential of Generative AI into real business value. This small, high-calibre team supports and leads work across several focus areas: accelerating high-impact GenAI use cases in partnership with divisions; negotiating strategic technology partnerships that leverage Group scale; developing a central library of GenAI tools; coordinating cross-divisional delivery through structured engagement; and building enterprise capability through targeted training. The team is designed to move quickly, enable alignment, and amplify outcomes across the Group. Your Role purpose Own the Accelerator’s commercial relationships with hyperscaler partners and other strategic AI vendors, govern the Strategic Investment Fund that supports AI adoption across the Group, and oversee the portfolio of enterprise AI tool licenses administered through the Accelerator. This role operates at the intersection of external partnership management and internal investment prioritization; ensuring the Accelerator maintains productive partner relationships, directs fund resources to high-value AI initiatives, and maximises value from enterprise license investments. The AI Commercial Partner brings commercial rigour to AI investment decisions and relationship depth to partner engagement. What you’ll be doing Strategic Partnership Management - Own and cultivate the Accelerator’s commercial relationships with hyperscaler partners (Microsoft, Google, OpenAI) and other strategic AI vendors. Strategic Investment Fund Governance - Govern the Strategic Investment Fund, establishing and operating the framework for funding requests, assessment, and allocation decisions. Enterprise License Oversight - Oversee the portfolio of enterprise AI tool licenses administered through the Accelerator. Procurement Operations - Oversee procurement operations for AI technology vendors and implementation partners engaged by the Accelerator. Team Leadership - Lead and develop the AI Enablement Lead and Procurement Principal, ensuring effective delivery across license management, adoption enablement, value tracking, and procurement operations. What you'll bring to the table 10 years of experience in commercial management, strategic partnerships, vendor management, or investment governance roles. Demonstrated experience managing enterprise-scale commercial relationships, particularly with major technology providers. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to structure arrangements, negotiate terms, and maximise value from strategic partnerships. Investment governance expertise — able to design and operate funding frameworks that balance rigour with accessibility. Relationship management skills at executive level — both internally with senior stakeholders and externally with partner leadership. Commercial Rigour: Brings discipline to partnership management, investment governance, and license oversight. Ensures resources flow to initiatives that deliver genuine value. Relationship Builder: Skilled at building trust and maintaining productive relationships across organisational boundaries — internally with stakeholders and externally with partners. Strategic Perspective: Sees beyond individual transactions to the broader partnership and investment landscape. Positions the Accelerator for long-term success.
