What can you expect in a day in this role?
As Assistant General Manager, you will be a visible leader on the floor, with a strong understanding of the pace and flow of daily operations. You will support and lead your team, elevate the guest experience, and ensure refined, thoughtful service is delivered consistently across every stage of the guest journey.
You will oversee the coordination of all departments, ensuring the operation runs smoothly and to the highest standard. As an engaging host, you will greet guests personally, build genuine connections, and set the tone for exceptional stays from arrival to departure.
You will balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership and step into the role of General Manager whenrequired,maintainingcontinuity of standards,cultureand performance.
What you will bring to the role
* Proven senior leadership experience within luxury hotels orfive-starresorts
* Strong commercial and business acumen, with the ability to balance guest experience and operational performance
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling authentic connections with guests and colleagues from diverse backgrounds
* A strategic approach to operational efficiency, including effective rostering, costcontroland resource management
* Demonstrated success in leading,inspiringand developing teams to deliver exceptional guest satisfaction
* Solid experience across recruitment, scheduling, performancemanagementand team engagement
* Strong technical capability, includingproficiencywith MS Office andexpertisein hotelproperty management systems (RMS)
