About your role:
We are expanding ourteam and would love to welcome an experienced and dynamic Occupational Therapist eager to make a difference and contribute to best practice. You’ll bring expertise, maturity and strong time management and organisational skills to the role.
Responsibilities will include:
* Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services with the assistance of an OTA
* Assess participants’ emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
* Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
* Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life
* Mentor and nurture early career clinicians
* Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
* Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
* A pro-active attitude and interest in continually developing your skills
* Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists
* A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
