About the role

Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of quality and service improvement activities related to heart and lung transplantation, and develop and drive research programs, and as required by the clinical programs and psychology department.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

* Deliver specialised clinical health psychology and consultancy services for highly complex patients with life threatening cardiac and/or respiratory conditions that require heart and/or lung transplantation from across the state
* Advocate for and provide high level clinical advice within specific expertise to clinical, professional and operational Directors, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding professional standards and clinical service development.
* Monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes within the clinical service area and actively participate in initiating, developing, and implementing quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of neuropsychology and clinical psychology services.
