Reliability and Healthcare Standards Officer
Joining our Quality and Safety Division means working \"at the elbow\" of clinical teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will be part of a connected, multidisciplinary group dedicated to ensuring Central Queenslanders have access to the best possible care.
Responsibilities
* Implement and monitor organisational quality standards, clinical policies, and governance frameworks.
* Lead evaluation and reporting against National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.
* Analyse complex datasets and emerging risks to identify opportunities for system-level improvement.
* Deliver at-the-elbow training and education to build clinical governance capability across the service.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and consumer partners to enhance patient safety initiatives.
Qualifications
* High-level understanding of healthcare standards and clinical governance processes.
* Skilled communicator capable of engaging effectively with clinicians, executives, and patients.
* Advanced analytical and problem‐solving skills to interpret complex policy and data.
* Committed to ongoing professional learning and fostering a positive safety culture.
* Demonstrates leadership through role‐modelling exemplary professional standards.
What We Offer
Remuneration varies by stream (includes ****% super and 17.5% leave loading):
* Admin: Up to $152,772 p.a. with an hourly rate between $**** - $**** per hour.
* Health Practitioner: Up to $157,359 p.a. with an hourly rate between $**** - $**** per hour.
* Nurse: Up to $135,857 p.a. with an hourly rate between $**** - $**** per hour.
