The Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our daily operations and drive performance through strong leadership. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the best possible operational outcomes, aligned with our business strategy.
* This position oversees all aspects of daily operations on site, including Leadership, Safety, Budget Management, Growing Strategy, Crop Production & Quality, Asset Maintenance, Team Management, and site administration.
* As a leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing growing strategies that ensure maximum production levels and high-quality crops.
About the Position
This is a business-critical leadership role, requiring the ability to manage site requirements as necessary. You will work closely with the Northern Region Operations Manager to achieve business objectives.
* You will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing a team, fostering collaboration and a high-performance environment.
* Collaborate with and contribute to the Northern Region's overall business goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's degree in Business, Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field.
* At least 5 years of relevant operational experience, preferably in the horticulture industry.
* Strong knowledge of Fair Work Legislation and employment relations experience.
* Ability to coach and guide stakeholders on Modern Awards and Australian legislation.
