Your New Role
We are seeking a reliable detail-orientated customer service focused Weighbridge Operator to join our team at the Port Hedland site.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Timely and professional customer service
* Accurately weighing incoming and outgoing scrap metal using the weighbridge scale
* Accurate record of weight measurements customer information and other relevant data into our computer systems
* Completion of payments in accordance with customer trading terms
* Maintaining an organised office including organisation of files and records
* Providing administrative support to the Yard Manager
* Demonstrating a high focus on safety
To Be Successful in This Opportunity You Will Have
* Proven customer service skills
* Excellent communication numeracy skills both written and verbal
* Strong computer skills specifically data entry speed and accuracy
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Friendly telephone manner
* An organised approach managing your time effectively
* Previous experience operating a weighbridge will be highly advantageous but is not essential
* Availability to work overtime during bulk vessel shipping periods
