About the Role:
* This full-time position involves servicing and repairing various mechanical parts of motor vehicles, including engines, transmissions, and suspension systems.
* The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology as part of a four-year apprenticeship program.
* They will also be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and servicing of battery electric vehicles.
* In addition, they will perform tasks such as oxy acetylene welding, thermal cutting, and thermal heating procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Cert II in Automotive or Engineering is highly regarded but not mandatory.
* The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
* Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
