About the Role:
WorkPac is currently in search of a Production Supervisor to join our esteemed client's team based in Welshpool. This position is based on a Monday to Friday roster, full time hours with overtime available.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Lead and supervise a workshop team of 15–20 personnel.
* Coordinate daily ceramic production to meet schedules and quality targets.
* Review and interpret production drawings to guide workshop staff.
* Carry out fabrication, MIG/TIG welding, and repairs as required.
* Operate hand tools, grinders, cutting torches, and machinery safely.
* Conduct inspections and maintenance on welded structures.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
Skills and Experience:
* Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or Metal Fabricator.
* 5+ years' experience in fabrication, welding, or industrial workshop settings.
* Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings.
* Strong problem-solving, organisational, and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
* Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook, with strong numeracy and literacy.
