Plant Mechanic – Field Service (Tamworth)
Location: Tamworth, NSW, AU
Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, you will provide diagnostic support to a range of CAT machinery and ensure that all repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections meet Caterpillar standards.
Using your CAT expertise, you will guarantee work is conducted to a high level with a safety-conscious mindset and ensure breakdown solutions result in minimal downtime of machines.
Roster and Remuneration
Roster: 12.5-Hour Shifts, 7/7 (4 days on, 3 nights on, 7 off)
Shift Times: Day Shift 06:*****:30 / Night Shift 18:*****:30
Potential earnings up to $200k + Super
Skills & Experience
Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
Australian Recognised Certificate of Proficiency (COP) & Transcripts
Familiar with Caterpillar Equipment
OEM Experience (highly desirable)
Exposure to SIS or ET (highly desirable)
Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work autonomously in the field and in a team
Current driver's licence
