We are currently seeking qualified Consultant Psychiatrists for various appointments, including Sessional, Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Casual, Fixed Term Full Time, and Fixed Term Part Time roles, with potential extensions and/or permanency.
The Rockingham Peel Group (RkPG) provides comprehensive mental health services to adults and older adults in Kwinana, Rockingham, Mandurah, Pinjarra, and Waroona, known as Peel Rockingham Kwinana (PaRK). Our services include inpatient, community, emergency liaison, consultation liaison, day therapy, hospital in the home, early episode psychosis, assertive community treatment, perinatal, GP liaison, drug and alcohol services, aboriginal mental health services, community step up and step down accommodation, among others. We offer therapeutic programs such as CBT, DBT, rehabilitation, and peer support, with strong community partnerships.
About The Role
The PaRK MHS Consultant Psychiatrist will assess, treat, and manage patients with mental health illnesses within the Peel, Rockingham, and Kwinana catchment areas, working closely with families and carers. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, providing leadership, supervision, and education for medical staff and other health workers, and collaborating with the Director/Head of Department to meet performance standards.
