Heavy Equipment Fabrication Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Fabricator to join our team in the earthmoving industry.
Responsibilities:
* Fabrication and repair of heavy machinery and attachments;
* Executing tasks such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding as required;
* Interpreting technical drawings and plans;
* Carrying out maintenance and repairs on components like wear plates, buckets, booms, chassis, and structural parts;
* Ensuring accurate completion of pre-starts, maintenance reports, and job cards;
* Providing support for breakdown repairs and scheduled maintenance work.
Requirements:
* Certification in boilermaking or equivalent experience;
* Previous experience working with heavy equipment, preferably in the earthmoving, mining, or heavy industry sectors;
* Prior knowledge of MIG welding, with additional skills in TIG and stick welding advantageous;
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation;
* Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude;
* White Card (Construction Induction) certification;
* Valid driver's license (HR or forklift ticket a plus).
