This is for a Permanent or Fixed Term Part Time appointment at up to 45 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. Casual appointments may also be considered.
An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse to join the Community Health team in Kalbarri in the Midwest.
To be successful, you will have:
* Possession of or substantial progress towards the attainment of a certificate, diploma or masters in Child and Community Health Nursing (or equivalent) through an accredited institution.
* Experience and nursing skills relevant to community, school and child health.
* Knowledge and ability to implement health promotion principles into clinical practice.
* Ability to develop, implement and evaluate primary health programs.
* Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
Position Profile
Provides clinical services as part of the core community health programs such as immunisation, school health and child health. Responsible for providing quality primary health services to the community within their own levels of competency to meet planned health outcomes.
