Back End Developer – Java / AWS (Hybrid, Australia)

We're looking for a Back End Developer to help scale a mission-critical SaaS platform used daily by operational teams across Australia. You'll join a lean, quick-moving team focused on building robust, secure, and high-performing features.
Tech Stack
- Java 10+, Spring Security
- AWS (Lambda, S3), Terraform
- Integrations: Xero, Stripe, Square, IoT systems
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable backend services
- Work across cloud infrastructure (AWS) and DevOps
- Design and implement third-party integrations
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and UX
Qualifications
- 8+ years backend experience (Java preferred)
- Strong AWS and infrastructure-as-code skills
- API and database proficiency
- Security-minded development practices
- Based in Australia, hybrid (Sydney)
- Authorized to work in AU (no sponsorship)
