Job Description
* Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
* Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
* Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
* Assist with month‐end and year‐end financial closing activities.
* Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the accounting and finance department.
* Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Officer should have:
* A degree or certification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
* Knowledge of accounting principles and practices within the retail industry.
* The ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‐paced environment.
* Exceptional problem‐solving and analytical skills.
