* Casual and Permanent opportunities on offer, with up to $35.98 p/h + relevant loadings
* Monday to Friday shifts
* Morning availability and own transport are highly regarded
Key Responsibilities
* You'll provide care, companionship and emotional support to residents living in our aged care home, to help support their independence and improve their quality of life
* Providing daily living assistance such as showering, personal hygiene, dressing, help at mealtimes and with general mobility
* Assisting with medication and simple wound dressings and
* Supporting residents in community-based recreational and social activities.
Qualification & Requirements
* Must hold a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care/Individual Support (Ageing),
* Previous experience in Aged Care or Community Care. (Highly desirable, not mandatory)
* Be adaptable, empathetic, and resourceful, and you will be able to live Uniting's everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
* Provide a culturally safe and inclusive work environment.
* Ability to adapt to changing shifts if required.
* A genuine passion for elderly care, empathy, patience, and strong communication skills.
