Remote hospitality team leader

Job Title

Australian Camp Services are a leading remote-location hospitality company renowned for our commitment to service delivery excellence.

Mentor, coach and develop the existing onsite team. Day-to-day responsibility to ensure efficient and smooth day-to-day operations. Strong customer service focus for residents satisfaction.

The role involves understanding and using Site Accommodation Management Systems as required.

* Mentoring and developing the onsite team.
* Day-to-day operational management.
* Providing excellent customer service.
* Overseeing the kitchen operations ensuring catering scope requirements and quality are maintained and met.
* Inventory control including stock ordering, stock takes and wastage.
* Audit reporting for quality compliance and service standards.
* Administrative tasks such as preparing reports for head office financial reporting for retail shop and timesheets.
* Maintaining a safe work environment and providing ongoing feedback about opportunities for improvement.
* Ensuring and documenting staff awareness and adherence to HACCP Safety and Environmental practices and procedures.


Requirements

* Minimum 3 years experience in village service management.
* Ability to lead a large team of 15.
* Understanding of catering is preferred.
* Comprehensive understanding of hospitality services and remote site services.
* Strong problem solving skills.
* Experience in performance management and appraisals.
* Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and develop team.
* Effective communication skills at all levels - client facing and internal.
* Intermediate computer and tech skills.
* Experience in ordering stock-take and reporting.
* Food safety and hygiene training.
* Experience using FIFO accommodation management systems.
