Now Hiring: Support Leader – Disability Services (Fixed-Term, Part-Time)
Location: Northwest Coast, Tasmania
Contract Type: 6-Month Fixed Term
Hours: Minimum 60 hours per fortnight

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking four (4) passionate and experienced Support Leaders to join our team within Supported Independent Living (SIL) Disability Services between Wynyard and Latrobe.
Each Support Leader will oversee two residential support sites and is expected to work support shifts across both locations. These hands-on leadership roles are designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and coordinate daily operations across two SIL sites
* Provide active, on-the-floor leadership and mentoring to Disability Support Workers
* Work a minimum of 60 hours per fortnight, covering shifts across both assigned sites
* Support high-quality client outcomes aligned with support plans, behaviour support plans, and NDIS goals
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with NDIS and LEAP requirements
* Facilitate regular team meetings
* Foster strong relationships with participants, families, allied health professionals, support coordinators, and other key stakeholders
* Attend and contribute to care team meetings as directed by LEAP management
* Be on an after-hours on call roster
What We're Looking For
To be considered, you will have:
* At least 2 years of experience in the disability or community services sector
* Proven leadership experience within a disability support team
* A Certificate IV or higher in a relevant field
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A strong ability to manage responsibilities across multiple sites
* A current Driver's Licence
* A commitment to person-centred, strengths-based support
Important to Know
* Support Leaders will be assigned two specific sites based on current vacancies – site allocation is non-negotiable
* All shifts must be worked across both assigned sites as part of your fortnightly roster
* Contracts are 6-month fixed term, with the potential for extension based on service needs and performance
