Job Overview
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a world-class project restoring uranium mining to natural conditions in a pristine National Park environment. The Coordinator - Operations and Maintenance will lead efficient day-to-day operation and maintenance activities of the Brine Concentrator, identifying opportunities for improvement.
The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience with SCADA operations consoles, CMMS preferably SAP or the ability to learn, and falling film evaporations highly regarded. A current manual 'C' class driver's licence and excellent interpersonal, communication and team skills are essential.
About the Role
* Provide leadership to the team, managing workloads, safety tools, and allocating daily operational activities ensuring alignment with planned maintenance and production plans.
* Supervise operational and maintenance activities of the Brine Concentrator and associated infrastructure.
* Support safety and production incident investigations and implementing associated improvements.
* Commit to a workplace target of zero injuries by proactively resolving safety and process deficiencies.
* Assist in plant optimisation and plant performance in terms of process water quality and plant availability.
* Coach and mentor team members to develop supervisory skills and operational knowledge.
* Focus on continuous improvement by developing solutions to eliminate issues/problems identified in the work area.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Relevant qualification (Process Plant Operations, Trade Certificate, or Engineering Qualification)
* Experience with SCADA operations consoles
* Experience with CMMS preferably SAP or the ability to learn
* Experience with falling film evaporations highly regarded
* Current manual 'C' class driver's licence
* Ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team skills
* Competent in Microsoft software packages
* Critical thinking capabilities
* Courage to initiate continuous improvement
* Relevant industry qualifications (W@H, CSE/GTA, EWP, LF)
