The Opportunity
We are looking to recruit an experienced and high‐performing technical writer to support the E‐7A Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) Australia Programme. This role is based in Brisbane, with an alternate location of Williamtown considered.

Responsibilities
* Develop and review critical and routine technical publication revision tasks for AEW&C customers.
* Work closely with AEW&C Technical Writers, SMEs, Coordinators and Execution Leads to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks to achieve project revision deliveries.
* Conduct quality and in‐process reviews and validate technical publications.
Desirable Experience / Qualifications
* Experience in developing technical publications within a system specialty (mechanical/airframe/engines/GSS) is desirable.
* Experience in developing technical publications for all levels of operations and maintenance for a new or fielded major equipment system is desirable.
* 737NG experience is desirable.
* S1000D experience is desirable.
* XML or SGML experience is desirable.
* Applicants must be Australian citizens to meet defence security requirements.
* With the right attitude and communication skills, experience is not necessary.
