About the Team
Telstra Business Technology Centers provides IT and business support to Telstra's business customers and delivers Communications and ICT solutions to small and medium Telstra business customers. The TBTC network supports professional services to help clients integrate tailored tech solutions.
Role Responsibilities
- Take ownership for managing relevant customer relationships to support ongoing development, drive customer satisfaction and achieve revenue and sales objectives for the defined portfolio.
- Contribute to implementing the segment and portfolio strategy (including outbound campaigns) to support retention and growth of customer portfolios.
- Manage inbound/outbound customer sales and service contracts, explore sales opportunities, respond to queries and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely remediation and positive customer experiences.
- Collaborate with peers, team members and key stakeholders across the TBTC channel to identify and qualify leads.
- Develop and maintain account and portfolio plans to support relationship development and contribute to financial and customer targets (revenue, profitability, NPS) and data quality.
- Meet individual and team sales and performance KPIs.
- Upskill and develop knowledge across Telstra's portfolio of products and business solutions.
- Identify areas for improvement and embrace change and technology to better support business customers.
This is a permanent full-time on-site role based in Level 1, 75 Denham Street, Townsville, Queensland.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal, engagement and presentation skills; ability to present to executives or willingness to develop these skills
- Strategic thinking with the ability to adapt to change
- Able to impact TBTC performance and team engagement and culture
- Demonstrated commitment to relationship-building and working in partnerships with key stakeholders
Preferred Skills (not essential)
- Understand the business plus Telstra SMB customer base
- Understand day-to-day TBTC operations
- Knowledge of how channels work and market understanding
- Experience with Cisco, Microsoft and Checkpoint products and solutions
