We are currently looking for an experienced APS6 Project Officer to join a fast-paced government organisation on a full time temporary basis until December 2026. This role has become available due to organisational growth and ongoing initiatives. You’ll play a key part in delivering complex projects that support organisational change and improvement. The work can be remote or based in Geelong (VIC), Deakin (ACT), or Newcastle (NSW).
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with planning, coordinating, and managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Support the delivery of organisational change initiatives and continuous improvement projects
* Prepare clear and concise reports, briefs, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
* Communicate complex information effectively to various audiences
* Use your initiative to prioritise tasks and work with minimal supervision
* Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
About You
The ideal candidate is a proactive, organised professional with experience managing projects in busy environments. You’ll thrive on juggling competing priorities and delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines. Your communication skills are top notch, enabling you to articulate ideas clearly and work well with others.
