Our client is a long-standing financial services group with over 40 years of successful operation. Best known for their expertise in real estate finance, the firm offers a broad suite of credit solutions for property (all sectors), equipment, and asset based warehouses. In recent years, they have strategically acquired a number of non-bank lending platforms to broaden their offering and support clients across the full lending lifecycle.
This opportunity sits within the Real Estate Financing team, which focuses on originating and funding commercial property loans to Australian borrowers. The role offers a high degree of autonomy, enabling you to independently grow and manage your own book of business, while leveraging the firm's institutional balance sheet. Originators benefit directly from the economic value of the transactions they generate. The average deal size ranges from $***** million, with capacity to fund up to $150 million in bilateral transactions. The firm can offer product across development finance, land subdivision and residual stock.
We are seeking a senior candidate with *****+ years' experience in property finance, ideally from a commercial bank or real estate private credit fund. You will have a strong network across developers, property owners, and brokers and will thrive in a performance-driven, entrepreneurial environment. You must be driven to build and run your own book, this role is suitable for high performing originators who want to take more financial ownership for their output.
